Would love to try and get better at the boss fights but I find it a waste of currency to try and fail the first few times. Would be cool if Kirac would sell a version that didn't offer any loot, but still allowed you to attempt the fight.

I've found it's easier for the memory game if instead of Left, Top, Right... you use 1,2,3. It's very easy to remember a short string of numbers compared to a bunch of words

Got offered Hall of Grandmasters from Kirac. Wouldn't have taken it on any other build I'd done, but this one? Died twice and got me an achievement "The Grandmaster".

on cascade of pain what you wanna do is slowly move in 1 direction and it never hits u, u always go inbetween middle and the side ball

I condense memory game into remembering the starting tile and counting how many times clockwise or anti clockwise I have to go, since it’s a three tile set you will always be standing on a tile connected to the next. Eg. I’ll be like ok start on top tile, go clockwise three times then reverse. Or start top, anti clockwise twice then just alternate between the last two tiles. Never had trouble with memory game unless it’s the last one where there’s just shit everywhere.

In the memory game, rather than remembering left/right/top, I find it easier to remember... uh... directions. What you do is run around the arena in either a clockwise (cw) or counter-clockwise (ccw) direction to touch the zones. Just remember how many zones you should touch before turning around the other direction. Stand in the first zone glowing. Note if the second glowing zone will make you run cw or ccw. After that it's just four zones left. For example right/top/right/left/right/top would be: - Start at bottom right - Start running ccw - Touch 1 - Turn around, touch 2 - Turn around, touch 2 So you really only have to remember 1 2 2 Length varies of course, but 1 1 1 1 1 is usually easy to remember anyway (run back-n-forth between two)

I've been playing poe since there was only act 2, but nowadays I have difficulty in doing endgame. If i can defeat uber lab, im happy, cause all my builds are weak low damage and low survible. The only way is to copy builds, but that's not fun

do the puddle actually disappear in uber if u pull it outside of the platform? i just stack them in the middle of the arena and never went there during the fight. so much easier

Yeah those platforms move and when they do it deletes the goop. Middle is just fine and easier though

I was terrible at the memory game and what helped me a lot was dividing the sequence in my mind into two parts. I start voicing the tiles in my head as soon as the first three start flashing and continue voicing them while 4-5-6 are flashing. That way the first three are planted in your brain firmly (which was the hardest part for me to keep in my retarted memory) and the last three are easy because you just visually remember them and they are last and no new information enters your brain that might confuse you. Sorry if this is a bad explanation, just thought it might help someone. Practice makes perfect. If there is one thing Standard is good for it's practicing bosses.

It's not that he never fought her, it's that he only really did it for voidstones and then sold frags would be my assumption. Doing something once every 4 months is hardly a good way to learn it properly lol.

Did plenty of pinnacle bosses obviously! Not a ton of maven but yeah couple fights a league only, not really enough to solidify the learning. But ubers I just haven't gotten to as the last few leagues I didn't really play long enough or take too many builds to that point.

I genuinely don't like this fight. And it's not even because of the memory game itself. I like the idea of the memory game, but when it happens in the last phase, I just can't see the areas light up. There's too many effects... even watching the video, I have to look so hard to actually see the memory game. When playing I just either miss the memory game or everything else.

Worst mechanic in the game. I hope they dont introduce similar things in poe 2.
