Very awesome! I'm considering using Primordial Eminence on my ES Regen Scorching Ray character for a bit more Life Regen and so Stone Golem stays alive more easily. Hopefully, the Attack Speed would also allow it to taunt more often. I love how this build runs. I'm sure the Jewels will be very expensive (Douglas!), but Clay Shapers are so common and I never could sell them at all before. I think it's neat that they are no longer a trash 1 Alch unique and will see more play!

i am actually playing this build right now and its pretty good(without breach buffs and jewels) just 2 clayshapers and the passive tree, its pretty viable and cheap if you have the clayshapers laying around cuz they sky rocketed in price, cant wait for the buffs it will be a blast but i heard the jewels are league only so i need a char to farm on breach for the jewels

yeah i don think id depend on it for sketchy gear ok es and high hp rolls on es gear is easy to land, its going to be the pots that would enable this as a utility, id like to see stone golem with zealots oath if you can stack the jewels of the same name to get 90/120% of the stone golem regen to be able to mitigate bloodrage for melee damage on full life hybrid, if not armor/es gear is going to have to be invested in either aegis/ or just a good gg es/armor shield or pure es shield for a slayer or inquisitor caster or attack based(on char) is my goal for this league lol. esp if the % to attack and cast speed stacks as well as the jewels for the golems i will just 1 link a stone golem and get the 90/120% of regen to my es if its a high enough pool it should be tasty, esp coupled with block. slayer seems more natural for the endless leech to keep hp up...but idk if it will be bugged...most likely. Could go wander too...but i want to use mdofl. If this stacks and can be used as a utility esp in non hc scenarios it will be a huge over price in non hc. On utility alone 3-4, or (5) jewels[non hp 35%~28% max hp loss] but hybrid centered with block and mdofl crit. will survive off pots lol. fingers crossed they can stack since the 3 others said not "limited" that would be 16% ias/cast speed for golems x the amount of jewels too (eliminating the "need" for the aggro one IMO) as well considering if u run 4 + the extra golem jewel you can get the ice/lighting golem you use to proc its status often id imagine or hope

I really really like summoner build, been running 3 specs 3 golem 10 zoms since Perandus and they are working great, not the fastest clearer of course but I really like the idea of shepherding a bunch of minions :D . Yes I have been waiting for golem MTX if that is in near future. The only thing that makes me a bit sad is that the jewel might cost quite some (hopefully wont break 1 ex each). I might even start with golem builds again in breach but again, that is only viable if clayshaper price dont get too crazy high cause of these jewels.

I really prefer controlled destruction over concentrated effect (Flame Golem+Fire Pen+Spell Echo+Minion Damage+Controlled Destruction). The beacon of corruption pools and the golems' aoe spells are already quite small and I found decreasing it further to be rather frustrating. My variation uses ball lightning with gmp to proc EE & flammability with COH. Supplementary damage from a SRS spell totem (grabbed the increased duration nodes) and zombies for a defensive wall. I've got about 600 hours of playtime and so far this really feels like the most powerful build I've ever played for what it's worth.

Thats cool bro! I might come back for breach because of this! I play the Resurgence diablo 2 mod with 4 fire golems and I have a blast, this is just what I need for POE. So - do you think this one can work with a shavronne's wrappings, reservation nodes etc? I like the necro keystone that gives you the dmg and attack speed per aura so it could fit in good. The problem maybe you need a shield and have to drop 1 clayshaper.

Please like so ziggy see's it , The next time you talk to Anyone at GGG can you ask them if theres any chance of locking your frames to like 30 / 60 / 120 i think i talk for a lot of people when i say this game jumps frames like crazy and not everyone has top end pc to handle the jitters in the game , if at any point they can do this i think it would increase peformance issues for a lot of people that struggle to run it , or drop frames .

I'm pretty sure most people aren't going to run Golemancer for their first build. With all the Blade Flurry hype, it'll probably be the most played at the start, along with the usual BV builds.

I'm planning on running a variation of this, with 5x Flame Golem, Animate Guardian carrying Dying Breath (and a few other items), 2x Evangelists for proximity shield and the ability to branch out into 4-5 curse setup at later levels (read: 90+). Not entirely sure yet how to fit in more than 3 curses, but it looks like I'll have to possibly drop the specters for a curse on hit link for the last 1-2 curses and have the first 3 on blasphemy. Looks like this league is going to be fun.

Anyone else notice that the Anima Stone is a prismatic jewel, meaning now we have 2 available prism jewels in the game, considering that one of them is really expensive and only available from the lab, makes me think that Anima Stone will be an extremely rare and expensive jewel as well.

This is interesting to think about. If I get 2 clayshapers, all 4 of those gems, vis mortis and bones of ullr, I could get: 9 zombies 4 spectres (flame sentinels) 5 golems (mostly stone for taunt spam) It would be an immensely expensive build to make and I'd have to spend extra on rares to make up for lack of items to build resistances on, but it would give me a massive army with crazy tanky golems to soak up all the aggro.

thx to this, the freaking might stones are close to 15 ex already though... 2 of them, 30 ex, two of the other gems to get anima, 4 ex... so, together with the shapers, 35 ex cost before you even can use the build halfway decent... without might it doesn´t really work, you need the aggressive perk... unless you use the golems just for decoration. and now, get the rest =) i guess one pays around 50-75 ex for this...

In my opinion you might still be able to do golem build with just one might (for the anima stone). Of course you need to change the gameplay from Zigg's (not doing recasting golem). I have been running 3 golem build since Perandus league, without any of these jewels of course, and they have been performing really well. Better than midnight bargain specter imo.

You will want to play regular summoner or spellcaster till you have the jewels at least. Good news is the mace is level 41 and the jewels are no level req so you can go golems pretty early.

It has 2x the mace and the jewels. Considering how no one likes Golems and summoning at the moment it'll probably be fairly affordable. Except now Ziggy did a video so it'll be expensive. Oh well.

I have a next level edginess idea: - Scorching Ray + CWC + SRS + Faster Casting - Maligaro's Lens + Necromatic Aegis This setup allows you (and all your minions) to regain life when each SRS minion dies, while also lowering fire res. Also the Shield gives AOE and Life to Golems :)

As a summoner "main" this will have the same problem as any summoner addition. You are socket starved as all freaking hell. You need 6l for spectres, Helmet for Zombies, at least one setup for auras, Vaal Discipline and/or Haste, and after that you want offerings, a movement skill, convocation, SRS, Skeletons, Golems and what not. There is just too many options and as I see it those golems won't outclass spectres in a traditional summoner build, they MIGHT be substitutes for zombies (Chaos/Stone golem squad) and they might be a more passive alternative to SRS. Even considering all that the jewel sockets and clayshapers are a pretty big investment. Classic summoner gets it's power through synergies, you skill minion nodes which make ALL your minions stronger and aura nodes which make ALL your minions stronger. Though after all that is said, this might enable some nice hybrid builds, for a traditional summoner I do think it's outclassed due to socket limitations and the honestly ridiculous power of spectres and SRS (even more so after the buffs) but having a squad of golems follow you around as elementalist and buff you into infinity could proof useful! Someone do a Fire/Lightning/Cold golem elemental hit build! If I got it right with the jewel, two other golem jewels and elementalist you can even throw in a stone golem for good measure.

Yeah you could. However, if I went liege elementalist I'd focus on the buffs and dealing damage myself.

For selfcast; 3 Eminence + Anima Stone, so your golems survive easier against physical damage too. With Flame Golem enchant you get 88 damage(58 without) and can add 3 of these effects on top: 26.1 cast & attack speed, 87 crit and 11.6 phys dmg reduction or 304.5 flat life regen. Are those bonuses worth it? I don't think so but nothing to skimp on. Although you get a more balanced set of stats, resummoning can be tedious and you might be better off getting rare jewels to boost your damage. But getting Anima Stone just making use of it's +1 golem can be quite useful for (attack based) crit elemental builds since 60 crit, 60 accuracy from 1 jewel is not bad...

Because while I can grasp it general mechanics it's difficult to build around when you have no idea how often it's "regular intervals" are. Ziggy, are you sure the Primordial Might jewels stack if you slot 3 of em in your passive tree? Lets say +45% damage for 8seconds on golems after recasting them, 3 Might jewels means 3x45%?

Basiclly means golems cannot be powerd up more then 45%? , since the damage you get doesnt effect the golem damage? and what about the golem +20% HP for example? Should this stack? Tooltip doesnt show the Might jewel HP increase so ..

How do you get to 40K life with the Golems??? I am currently at 22K with lvl 19 gems and all of the passives. I can't see getting 18K from reaching lvl 20 on golem gem. Is there something I'm missing??? Are you running minion life mods on gear???? I also am running 2x clayshapers so I really don't see how I am short on minion life. I am running 3 Primordial Might jewels and 1 primordial harmony with the anima stone. Please help, I want this build working like it should.
