i watched youtuber Krawll unchained get hunted by a pack of 3 latens on his Alio. it was a pretty even matchup and a really cool fight. The fight dragged on with him struggling to land hits, it began to look like the itty bitty biters were winning. He eventually retreated to ankle high water and got respite for his bleeding ankles as they circled the shore. eventually a crock chased all of them off, but his fatal mistake was returning. Hunger drove his Alio back to the ambush sight where the laten pack was mauling a herbie. miscalculating his strength, the herbie broke his legs and the latens assassinated his alio. That fight really showed how cool the teeny boys are to me, they are awesome.

Yea the chickens can survive pretty well no matter what, even if they struggle to kill they can still scavenge pretty well off others by being a bit sneaky :)

Only warning i have is that the bite hitbox is a lil weird because it bites down, but otherwise it's a very casual little chicken :)

@@hunyadacrazy Can confirm, just started playing around with raptors last night and it's like trying to poke an ant with a toothpick sometimes. Some advice I can also give is that Raptors can crouch suuuuuper low to the ground, so you can tank some or outright dodge apex tail attacks while literally ankle biting them to death!

Anytime you want to attack a big Dino, just jump and bite them in the air, works everytime

@@hunyadacrazy yeah I had to find this out the hard way because I'm just returning to your comment after the gameplay.. not going to lie it's kind of fun but I have to find that type of Dino that I like to fight against with this raptor. He's best catching people off guard I feel in the bushes trying to rest.

Making day and night even times would be nice too, literally 15 minute nights and way longer days (i need to time the days).... Either way night dinos have the cool night passives that only work for 1/3 to 1/4 of playable time, i asked the pachy afterwards how much i did to em, they said they had 1/3 health left xD

@@hunyadacrazyin fact the pounce will be added in the PTB update, the pounce won’t take stam from the raptor unless the person being pounced on spam jump/buck, which can drain the stamina and when your stamina is out you will drop and you have to walk away which kinda is a down fall so don’t stay latched on until your out of stamina, but anyways you can use calls, attacks, and emotes while on the creature your pounced on, I play laten daily waiting for the PTB update xD

You hit any of your empty ability slot keybinds. Like i use L1+□ for cancelling as i never usually have an ability in that slot :)

Honestly if your a quetz and lose to a chicken your just bad, just have wing beat equipped. Even losing as meg is sad af tbh 😂 cant wait till the little buggers get latching and pounces so they can actually be viable!

How do you win against a alio as a latin?

Solo... with very great difficulty as it can just outspeed you and run into the sunset but you outstam it. In a group of latens it'll be the case that the alio will just stand in a small pond to force you to swim to make killing easy.
