I know this is 4 months old but it says share any tips and I main Bars/Ano. Now I play with more vanilla setting but this should still help. 1: Use Headbutt as a combo tool. Tail Slam has a 4 to 6 second cooldown, which doesn’t affect Headbutt, allowing you to get a swing in and do around 110 damage (75 tail slam and 35 Headbutt) I can easily 1v1 Rex’s and leave myself around half health afterwards. It’s a good move, use it more. 2: Tail Swing. People know tail slam hurts and try to get to your sides more (think of those sarcos) While not as good damage wise, it has a massive range horizontally and can hit players on your rear you usually can’t get to with Slam. Tail Swing and Slam do have a shared cooldown so you do need to be smart but usually Tail Slams better for other Apexs rushing ya and Swing is better for smaller Dinos as having 7k combat weight makes it still hurt. Would say try out Lone Survivor as it buffs turn speed and armor which is really nice for Bars, but that’s up to you, having friends help is usually better than a small bit of armor and turn. Ya did fairly well otherwise, using buff call when ya can, getting good positions when needed. Just try to think of Bars as a combo cow. No moves on it alone are great (Headbutt and Swing have low damage, Slam has long cooldown) but when you work them together it can rock a rex or 2. Also defense Bars is the best choice for combat imo so good work there. Only things I’d work about are raptors (can pounce ya but water saves ya there) and Sucho’s new barrage claw which is just ridiculous. Also packs but that’s any Dino needs to worry bout them tbh. Hopefully this helps ya, Bars is very cool to play as and fight with.

Use tail attack more then slam as you hit it more quickly and often but if u can hit tail slam then use it

For raptors you should focus on tail swipes and not tail slams. With that you can effectively end the hunt should the raptors end up biting behind you. Also use the headbutt whenever your tails on cooldown and the enemy is in front of you. That way you can get in chip damage.

8 months late and idk if it is relevant... But I notice you trying to face your opponent head on a lot, WHILE trying to land a tail attack. You missed out on a lot of dmg

Against fast moving creatures or packs unless they are right up your butt and with moderate sized/big sized creatures use slam (I play bars a lot)

theres a rule where if ur teamate is far away they cant help you basically if your teamate isnt im line of sight before the fight starts the teamate cant join the fight its a rule on The Obsidian Jungle server
