It’s not fair that hatz and ramph get barrel roll but not thalasso. Thalasso also deserves a dash ability as well as other attacks like headbutt, they need something.

Damn straight i love thal he was my main for a long time once you learn how to fight on him you can take alot more things on then you'd expect a good way to practice with it is a pvp server :) good luck and have fun!!

Wait are you dive bombing and biting when you hit? Cause you dont seem to be taking much colision damage but your wrecking those hatz!

Yep if you can land a divebomb it does decent damage but if you combo it with a bite to and land both it does hella damage

What a video, great work mate :) Usually i can only ever get 2 dives before death 😂 Do you try to slow down at all before the hit? Or more trying to go through them?

And yea i usually try to slow down a tad before hitting or i aim for the spots i know i can pass through them in a couple of the clips you see me pass through the hatz and it usually does big damage if you can mix in a bite well your divebombing it does huge damage !!

I'm noticing a lot of thal vs hatz fights, are the collisions only effective at fighting flying creatures still?

Yea i think people are getting alittle braver now and i think their okay on small land creatures and flying you can almost one shot pachy with collison dmg if he catch one sitting

Thank you so much!! And It takes alot of practice but Thal has his moment's haha and you wanna aim for spots you pass through on the hats like his head or wings never hit his body or you'll take hella collision damage also if you can mix a bite in with your divebombs and my build i use no water abilties except streamline and skydiver and gripping claws and make sure you have lone hunter as well Thal needs whatever damage he can get

I tried doing this myself, and couldn't stand a chance against a full-grown hatz, but I took down a adolescent one. I don't know how the heck you're doing this.

It is abit of a challenge at first but once you figure out the divebombing and bite combo you'll get em you gotta really use Thals maneuverability to the fullest and if you take any damage should prob run but depends on the fight i guess every fights different so can be hard to judge when you should run beleive me it took alot of trial and error before i got decent

I dont think so but its nice for jumpin from tall places and getting the jump on people if you fly your more likely to wake someone but if you drop down from a tree on to someone they wont hear it tell its to late usually

How do you even fight Hatz without fearing the risk of dying by collision damage? No matter what I do, I cannot land a single hit on a Hatz using Thalasso in midair without fearing their stupid OP barrel roll

You just gotta go for it if you can try to aim for the wings beak and like tail area you pass through them and dont take alot sometimes tho you just get unlucky and they hit that barrel roll just right and 75% of your healths usually gone at that point just gotta call the fight and get outta there run it back when your healed

Yeah hatz is definitely a ground fighter.. but even then they seem squishy so idk, wtf do i know i've only got like 10 hours on the game so far.

Hatz has his moment's in both ground and air but for the most part hes deff more a ground fighter especially once hatz gets nerfed his main dmg is gonna come from ground fighting

2 barrel rolls is about Thals limit you just have to play it slow and kinda safe wait for your openings and if you can bait out the barrel roll then go for a divebomb

Thals alittle underrated in my opinion he takes abit to learn but once you learn the basics you can have some fun with him just learn the divebomb and peck well you fly by :)
