people upset about the upcoming Hatz nerfs. Me who has basically been using 10% flight stam and Preened Feathers since day 1 I have barely felt the nerfs at all. My weird build choices tend to pay off in the long run

As someone who mained kentro before it got the damage and subspecies buffs (and traction), I can honestly say that the new kentro nerfs are too harsh. I think a slight speed reduction (make it old defense kentro’s speed) and slight turning nerf (or removal of traction and balanced tail on Kentro altogether) would have been fine. Old Kentro had enough hp to defend itself against same-sized opponents (1v1). Ptb kentro will die to one cerato in 5-6 hits of thrash. (Cerato really needs a damage nerf imo… it can 5 shot an alio and a conc, which is stupid) I also hope they fix the hitbox on kentro. While testing on the ptb, kentro’s tail hitbox isn’t right. Sometimes it takes body shot damage when hit on the tip of the tail…

I agree that the changes to kent were too heavy handed, too many things were changed all at the same time, i was also thinking the health nerf was way unneeded after they gutted it's offensive strength with it's turning. Its not supposed to offensive sure, but now it cant even be defensive outside of just running away as fast as you can in a straight line 😂

Why don’t you use defense spino. Im running defense spino with lone survivor, traction, tough scutes, and tail attack. I’ve killed rex and other spino but if anyone got a better build let me know.

I wonder is there any good reason to use traction on stego over pivot? Because i feel the 30% worse stam regen on traction is a big kick and pivot can actually be really useful especially when dealing with something thats trying to chip away at your healh

Alot People take traction because there are videos saying it's best and because staying still usually just gets you killed which you need to do with pivot. It helps for 1 fight but then you are a sitting duck eith no stamina after, on a deathmatch server though this is not a problem

@@safyra6691 i aint a master xD Yea spinning with pivot suprises quite a few small tiers when they try a face hit and i just turn away from them xD Charge swing can be useful, but usually you gotta use alot of stamina to get into position and get a hit. Its 25% more damage and 4x the bleed compared to basic swing but then leaves you with a large opening for people to get ya. I would say there are not too many openings against good players to use it without being punished. Useful for pushing pounced raptors off ya.

Allo just needs another head slot and the stam drain cost on its claws taken away from it. Claw attack doesn’t cost stam on any other character, so why should Allo be the only one where it’s punished for using a low damage attack? Stego needs some trot speed and tail buffs. The trot speed should be the same as an apex, not slower than the apexes. And the thagomizers on the tail should do medium amounts of bleed to anything that bites them (similar to how you take reflective bleed and damage when you bite kentro’s tail).

Tbh, surprisingly not as much anymore. When I was in community for awhile, I joined back I haven’t seen much toxicity in awhile. I’m sure there’s still some there, but for me wasn’t much at all and can actually grow in peace again.

It’s 10% which can be nice. Issue is Spino’s healing is .83 health per second, so 10% of that is .083 giving it .913. Which is something better at least, sleeping goes from 3.32 health per second to 3.652. Main problem is Sucho. Sucho’s got switch to 10% bleed and venom heal which just sucks.

Health regen isn’t bad, but when a spino fights, it almost always has a combat timer. Health regen is really only helpful if you’re able to run away (combat timer stops you from regen health unless someone gives you a group heal call). As a spino, mobility or more armour are a lot better, because those are buffs that are utilized throughout the entirety of the battle. TLDR: During combat, you get more value out of having more defence or mobility.
