Snap Labs only host in US regions of AWS. It works fine for US and most of Europe (I'm in the UK and it's fine for me). Obviously, the further you are geographically, the worse it gets. I will 100% review the modules and make it clearer which machine an exercise is meant to be run on.

For sure, closer proximity makes a huge difference. Still doing things browser based is never as 'nice' as the full experience. I understand why it was done that way, just not ideal from a usability pov

@@JSONSEC i never understood this sentence... browser based wasnt in the past but nowadays it run smoothly like a VM...

Depends on your geography, I typically experience half a second lag between clicks and keystrokes. That's fine, but what I dont like is the usability perspective. You can't drive a web based VM like you can with a real one, keyboard shortcuts etc

I also found the lab non-linear so you really need some AD knowledge for this course.

@@CyberCelt. I haven't taken CRTO yet, but I heard from a couple of people that it was very beneficial to take CRTP as an offensive AD course.

@@sinanozdemir2482 same here. same 2 same. have started courses many times but I am stuck. maybe the format (not having VPN) is weird and makes me lag.
