Honestly just follow Spartans Takeo commander build in this video. Its the best for if you don’t want to buy any commanders that are from crossovers, i.e the Arpeggio commanders. I use Azur Lane Fusou, but the build I use is the same because its just the simplest and most beneficial. It doesn’t limit you at all, you can still brawl if you feel like suffering.

I wish WG had never nerfed the Japanese BB line, it’s painful to use them. The Nagato is just painful and whenever I bring it out to finish the grind I just couldn’t. I hope the Amagi is better.

This ship is a bit of a seal clubber. Its HE is just devastating and will simply shatter low tier DDs and cruisers--and infuriate everyone else. I normally cordially detest Takagi on Japanese BBs, but at this tier he is the way to go. Kondo comes into his own later on when you really don't want to be the first thing the enemy team sees. The ship is essentially a proto-Kongo and it shows: 8" belt, distributed armor scheme, fast (relatively), and very good firing angles. You must angle or you'll get ripped since the ship has thin armor and the belt is both short and shallow.
