Thank you so much Chaman ❤️ @Sukhdeep- From what I have heard post-March would be a good time to cover Killar-Kishtwar route. Though some daredevils cover it in winters as well but heavy snowfall can block the road for weeks. Sach pass opens around May-June depending on snowfall.

@@Himbus agar aap killar - Kishatwar se jana chahte ho toh march end or april month sabse best rahega kyuki tab baraf utni nhi hoti or road ekdum clear rahega aapko jyaada safar karna nhi pagega. Vese toh ye road saal bhar khula hota h par baraf ke karan bich bich me band hota rehta h isiliye best time april rahega or aap killar kishatwar route ko via padhari jot se cover karenge toh or bhi shandaar rahega. Padhari jot se aap salooni or bhadarwah valley ko bhi cover kar paoge via Udhampur route toh jyada lamba padega. Padhari Jot April me khul jata h or may me best rahega yaha se jana. Aap hamesha acha kaam karte ho or aage ke liye best off luck.

@@AnkitSharma-mc5lx Thanks. Although we want to cover Killar-Chamba route again and that opens only by June. So I think we will wait till June. Our plan is Banikhet-Langera-Padhari Jot-Bhaderwah-Doda-Kishtwar-Killar-Sach Pass-Chamba. What do you think?

This bought memories back. I went to Chamba from Dalhousie in 2007. I have seen the park and temple. Small pieces of Ice was falling when we were in the temple. We took HRTC from Delhi to Dalhousie. Enjoyed watching. Thank you.

In videos ko dekh ke andar se ek garmahat aati hai. Hamesha mere chehere mein muskaan rehti hai. Mein uttarakhand se hoon lekin kabhi wahan raha nahi, bas garmi ki chhutiyon mein jata tha. Ye videos mere liye in pahadon, unme kate raston aur usme chalti in gaadiyon ko ek love letter jaisa lagta hai. Upar se aapki aawaz, waah!! Man ko shaant karti hai. Kabhi hamein bhi apne saath le jaiye.

Thanks for sharing the Chamba journey. I visited Chamba/ Dalhousie 40 years ago. Frankly speaking couldn’t remember much from my trip. Second part of this series reminded me of HRTC buses and hilly terrain and roads from 40 years ago. This really is a different experience out of this universe as these kind of roads are not to be seen in USA. Your video coverage is amazing.

Actually there is nothing like Amritsari naan. It is Amritsari kulcha which is basically known as Amritsari naan in other places. Naan and Kulcha are two different things. You will never find the same Amritsari kulcha taste outside in any city of Punjab.

I was at Chamba in 1980. There was a wooden bridge on river ravi said to have been made by the king of chamba. This bridge was dropped at night to protect the city. Another pucca bridge was then constructed alongside and used by traffic other than walkers. The wooden bridge is historic but not seen any of the videos. We used to go via Gandhi gate down to near river bed where we used to get mutton. This was every weekend tour on foot. We used to experience snowfall at least once every winter.
