No, pushing carts in those days...linen napkins, drinks served in a glass, china plates, and proper cutlery, nothing was plastic, and drinks were served off silver trays. The VC 10 was a joy to work on. Those were the good old days.

A VC10 was my third Airfix kit, after an F4 and a Hurricane. I thought it pretty but I didn't understand why, if we'd bought an airliner, we hadn't bought Concorde. Now I understand what my Dad saw. A stunning aircraft.
