Couldn’t agree more, Dan. I’ve been using Pathfinder pots for quite some time. Great cooking gear at reasonable prices. 👍

They've done a good job on their pots, cup, water bottles, and I'm really happy with there tarp. Hopefully they keep up the standard.

He does do excellent work. Glad you are liking both the pouch and pot!

You can put a rock on your pot to make up for the balance with handles out.

That seems like an ideal size. Dave C seems to listen to the feedback. I recently bought the 25 oz cup but it did not come with the holes to my surprise. But after listening to you I guess it makes sense that it's just not big enough when things start boiling over if you're cooking soup. The 25 oz might be okay for making coffee but like you say for cooking noodles and Etc it's going to start coming over the edge. That might be why they stop making the 25 oz with the holes for the fish mouth spreader. I'm going to think about it overnight and I might just order this one. I don't need it right now but sometimes things all of a sudden become unavailable and then you wish you had bought it. BTW I have some bad news for you. Mother Nature already made woodland camo the official American color.

That 32 ounce pot has been perfect for me for meals like soup, stew, etc. I still use my cup for hot water for cocoa. Very surprised the holes are gone now. Woodland camo... always my favorite!

Hi Dan, I would like to address the lack of measurement marks in the pot. Any scribing tool. A dremmal with a cutting wheel might work best. 8, 12, 16,and 24oz marks seam to be the most common for cooking. There is the method of making small dents for your marks. Whether you go in or outside the pot. It's a preference. Just shooting some ideas 💡. Take care, and safe adventures ✨️!

I have mine ordered, should be here today. I have the two quart but seldom use it because for just myself it's much too large, i passed on the mug with the slots in it and went for the five dollar Walmart pot/ large mug. You can cook in it but really not enough room. This should be perfect for solo use, i see myself making a stew in it😊

@@ochocobushcraft1742 wish I could attach photos here, I have been using a smaller Walmart pot at work cooking up Campbell's chunky soups( various) .the smaller pot/ mug had a inch at best left over for mixing and heating, the pf one quart has half the pot left, plenty of space to add goodies😋

i have the snow peak .83 liter, the main issue it has , i see. is the spout, where that rim plugs up. i wish i had the pathfinder. i will get one from midway. since your up in the PNW you should try to tour purcell trench grills , see them made and show the comparisons. [nobody has really done that] ,maybe msr and look at their s/s pots . then this fall after fire season. you should try roasting grouse in the pathfinder pot with maybe some vegtables. i am really enjoying your vids here recently. that pathfinder pot maybe the perfect canoe camp cook pot

Pathfinder cooksets are good, been using them for years. If there is food or water in the pots, they will hang more vertically. Their bat wing handles are great, even when wearing gloves. Dan you really need to learn how to add web links, copy and paste links are not hard to do. Or ask for help buddy!
@ochocobushcraft1742 Жыл бұрын
I dp want to learn to post links, but only guy I know who will help me charges 70.00 an hour. I just can't afford it at this time.
