Paladin is how I beat farninas at level 10... Well that and a very boosted icy prison but I nearly needed pally for the bonus to hit via his smite otherwise the spell wouldve timed out >.> worth it though

Also not wanting to comment too much but there is a certain heavy armor piece in act 2 dwarf fort area that gives +2 smite evil as well as some charisma and wisdom. It's locked behind a very easy puzzle and it can last well until late game for the extra smites alone.

Also hospitalier gets both lay on hands and channel energy on DIFFERENT charges so he ends up being a martial cleric with a little less spells but about equal healing

They aren't RP locked. You can just get a scroll of atonement. You can do whatever you want.

Technically true, but pathfinder is designed to have paladins be LG. As a tabletopper I can't say that I approve of that kind of out. And the scroll sets you back to LG but that still locks you out of alignment only dialogues. There are 3 or 4 for each alignment. And also, having LG on your sheet and you ignoring it is a big "no" RPG/Tabletop. Just going against the games core design.

@@100grizzlybears for alignment locked dialogue yes. There's lots kf dialogue that shifts your alignment very very slightly but few that require them. Although they allow you to do but things in the story most of the time.
