Listening through this process, I finally settled on what my next play through will be. I had an idea for everything about a character except for a build going into litch. The concept was the scion of a long line of wizards who burned out of wizard school. I think I’m going to go with reanimator alchemist with the idea being that they hated wizard college except for their potions classes, where they found that everything just sort of clicked; eventually this rose to their primary interest. They dropped out and apprenticed themselves to a master alchemist, and in studying to become a master in their own right, they found a way to raise the dead intending to shove it in the faces of every family member who ever spoke disparagingly of those not of the collegiate wizard system that they were able to do the same things powerful necromancers do without the need for magic. Anyway, tldr this was useful both as a glimpse into what your process looks like and for settling me on a build that I want to do once I finish my first (angel) play through.

If you get beast totem rage powers you can give your entire party the pounce ability. that is HUGE. It also give stacking natural armor bonus up to +5 for the whole party, pets included.

Wait, does the capstone of Sable Company Marine force a critical? So weapons that do something on crit would be good. Like the bastard sword that casts a 17th level Greater Shout spell on crit? If the Hippogryph doesn't knock them down, the Greater Shout will stun them

So, after a bit more testing, it seems like dispelling attack can go off with every single sneak attack hit, but sometimes it doesn't proc even if it does do the damage. Destructive dispel is also procs with a dispel attack. So if you wanted to be totally silly, you could do eldritch scoundrel into arcane trickster into Eldritch knight with dual wield. You would have like 10 dispel attempts at +44 with the two new dispel focus feats, and you would force them to make half a dozen saves against 10+ half your caster level of 39 + spell casting modifier or be stunned for a turn. Even if they aren't stunned that turn, hit them with abuscading, spell spirit, dispel synergy greater curse to drop their saves by a whopping -10 against your spells. Is it efficient? I'm going to guess no. Is it funny? Oh hell yeah. Edit: oh, and even if they make the save against the stun, they are sickened... for more penalties to saves.
