The whole video highlighted positive aspects but it's important to consider other factors too before you jump the bandwagon. Getting UK citizenship doesn't mean you will automatically get all the benefits. Those days are long gone. UK government is in the verge of bankruptcy due to high government expenses in the welfare and NHS sector. NHS which is the country's health system is crumbling and it's extremely hard to get doctor appointments especially if you are living in London. Health providers strike for wages frequently and basic procedures and surgery has to wait because of the backlogs. High taxes and low pay is another major issue. Someone who's from India might think he/she is getting paid good money due to the conversion rate. But after sometime you will realize that the salary paid in the UK is not proportionate with the increasing taxes and expenses in the country. Renting a room itself is so expensive if you are in London. For potential home owners it's unaffordable to buy and maintain a house due to high interest rates now. When you talk about the whole welfare/benefits the reality is National Insurance contributions are already in peril, there's no guarantee that government can afford to pay tax payers during retirement. Council home and benefits are not guaranteed unlike before. With regards to employment opportunities, UK governments can't generate enough high employment opportunities since the last 10 years considering the heavy demand due to crazy migration. For engineering and IT aspirants, IT and technology jobs they are not in plenty. Don't fall for UK Universities and apply for courses that don't have any future career prospects. Do your own research and make sure there are plenty of jobs in the market before you fly to UK. Also, gaining enough work experience in India helps a lot during your job search. Don't fall for the consultancies canvassing easy admission and job placement as majority of them are exploiting students.

1.not compulsory, yes, 2. Since the OCI is a life time visa, you can stay as long as you wish in India. You can enter and exit the country as frequently as you wish, and even reside permanently.

OCI card holders can purchase and sell residential and commercial properties in India. But they are not permitted to purchase agricultural land, including farmland or any kind of plantation property.
