Well sir, thats a great news👍 I mean 70 yrs of oil production for India, 17 billion ton equivalents of oil and gas is a great news. Though this wasn't possible without policy changes made by Cabinet in December 2022,that released 99% area for exploration which was prohibited area earlier. Thanks for analysis. 👍🙏

Oil exploration ko rokne ka main reason west, arab lobby ko khoos rakhne ka tha. National security ke naam par "no go zone" sirf bahana hai. Duniya mein aisi koi country nahi hai jisne apni 90% of EEZ par aisa ban lagaaya hoga, specially jab woh 90% energy import par dependent ho. West, Gulf se indian NGOs ko blions of dollar ka foreign fund milta hai jinka direct ya indirect link politicians ke family, relatives, friends ke saath hai.

Nope because extraction cost is much larger than Middle East extraction cost as they extract oil from land and we extract it from sea deep water but the good news is that for emergency purposes like war and sanction we can able to come out with that resource

That makes upto 20.5% and we need to import 79.5%. We already added substantial reserves in Barmer, Rajasthan (I think they've put up a refinery there). Hope, finds from Andamans & Nicobars will better our situation.
