They're not really smart in any extraordinary manner. It's just that they appear smarter than us because our leaders are dumb and reactive, lacking any proper vision to push India further into the global realm. 75+ years of independence, we Indians don't have a dedicated global newspaper that represents the actions and events that occur in our country. That's why there's a lot of misinformation spread in the whole world about India and it's people/society. Neither do we have any representation in the social media. All the social media apps in India are run by Western countries, which enables these countries to influence the minds of Indian people with cut off and manipulated information in the media. Social media sensor board allows anti-India rhetoric but block many pro-india activists. Hence social media can be used as a weapon by India's adversaries against India, but we don't have the same capability.

​@@kitty_cat_24 Not really. Chinese mindset is way different than Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistanis. When I studied in the UK, everytime we had a group assignment, Indian students will always be like "oh I was sick, Oh I had this problem, I had that, no worries I will finish this part bla bla". And then when the time comes you will see very poor work, and that would force all of us to finish or change their poorly done works that was done in few hours. Chinese students always work their best, and they are serious about deadlines. They never give you excuses after excuses. When we were in the student hall, Indian students will scream and shout to talk to each other infront of others room even at 1am. After they were done cooking, they would make the whole place dirty. Sinks are full of vegetable bits, and water is clogged, it doesnt matter how many times we had meetings and they never changed their behaviour. Chinese students never behaved that way. You can't compare Chinese ethics and mindset with Indians (even the educated ones like the students at our university).
