Garden looking great. I like the hardcore idea for paths particularly with all the rain we're experiencing great for drainage. My path is a muddy trail up the garden. Nice beard too 😊

Thankyou :) It's probably the easiest path to make. Bit of hard work but simple enough. And won't get muddy. I'd used a finer one than I have though

Hah, timely. I've just spent my lunch break weeding my gravel path to my pond. Springtime jobs! Got some self seeded plants & bulbs out of it too so thats a win with free plants. Your paths look great, really add to that naturalistic feel.

I know it might be controversial, but placing some geotextile under the path would be a good use to minimize the subsidence of the rock into the soil. Also, please get yourself a steel tamper. Right tool for the right job and all that whatnot.
