In terms of exposure, mid sized firms may have an edge over big4s but we can not overlook the fact that working in a particular field (be it taxation, statutory audit or internal audit) for over 3 years is going to make you a dab hand at it.

U can assume all firms other than Big4 as Mid sized firm. And yes obviously not a small firm. Search on google Top 20 CA firms and that list contains mid sized firm also
