I actually feel like "Casualty" has really gotten it's mojo back in recent years. There was always a "soapy" element to the show's storytelling but the series has done a solid job at highlighting real life problems such as the violence that health care professionals have to deal with as well as topical issues surrounding the genuine anger that the public have about matters concerning the NHS.

When i first saw the History of Violence subtitle back in January I wondered what it was all about but as the episodes have gone on it's obviously more about Dr Stevie Nash and her hiddink demons and you saw it there when momentarily she just froze while Ryan was getting the living daylights kicked out of him. Look out for the new Lead consultant Patrick arriving in March to takeover from Max/Stevie. In all honesty, I don't really know why they just didn't hand me role of lead consultant back to Dylan because he's more than capable. The only reason why he was forced to step down was because of a dodgy Marcus.

They must have gotten rid of their medical advisor/ambulance advisor. This show has gone downhill since I last saw it, medical factual wise!

I mean as sad as it is losing someone doesn’t give you the right to literally try and kill a nurse

You normally don’t get sympathy for hitting people when drunk. Why would being in extreme emotional distress get you a free pass? It’s understandable to be violent here, but not unpublishable or consequence free. I think everyone deserves sympathy tough.

Yes because hurting a nurse who tries to heal people is really going to help the situation. IF we want the NHS to be better we need to vote for party that will fund it - not the fault of the people who work there.
