Incredible valuable insights into the history of SGS. This gentleman could easily fill 10 one-hour episodes around some of the cars you guys have in the collection. I like the concept you are going to do around the museum. Keep up the good work.

These extroverted tuned Mercedes are called "Ludenkarren" here in Germany, "pimp's cars". And SGS once put out a statement that their cars aren't pimp's cars because pimps can't afford them^^

What happened to all the style that we saw back in the 80s and 90s? Crazy widebodies, flashy custom interiors, high spec engine tunes (as seen in various Koenigs, audio setups, tvs, phones, etc. Nowadays it’s wheels and exhaust and a wrap and tune it, you have a “build” somehow.

@@YusufEbr I would beg to differ, there's a few mechanics working on Kjets and Djet motors this side, trust me, and there's a big following now of these classics. If I had the machinery and the knowhow to work on these I'd be killing it here it Johannesburg

WOW. So many cars still out there! Hopefully they will all come to the MECCA where they belong at the Patina Collective. What an epic episode. Big thanks to Daniel and Vico. What would life be without the Patina Collective? They saved the Mercedes scene. I was tired of seeing over hyped Japanese cars. we really needed the Patina Collective to let the car community know that MERCEDES BENZ is here to take its throne. 🫡
