Hi Dana. Happy belated Anniversary wishes!!💟 You have a great spacious patio space. It is incredible isn't it how just some fresh paint can really update our already used pieces. Your Adirondack chairs are beautiful!! We are in a similar situation weather wise. Here across the border in Montreal, Canada, we usually wait until around May 23rd to plant flowers and garden however, so far, things seem to be even more behind, even just cleaning and racking around the yard is delayed. I remember your blue flower arrangements from last year and I think they look great to add some color. You did a great job Dana!! Take care 🤗

Great job on the paint job on the small glass tables. They look brand new. I painted my plastic one years ago & it’s amazing what spray paint can do. I’m from the Philadelphia area. Our rule of thumb for planting has always been Mother’s Day. So you are only 2 weeks later. Keep up the good work.

You give me so many great ideas. After your last front porch video, I have decided to do white flowers with greenery this season. I have already always loved white florals with greenery outside, but am doing more of it this time. Classic! I had my trim power washed yesterday, so now it’s the windows. I have someone do them, only because of the 12 windows on the attached enclosed patio room. I only have 6 in my home, that I could do myself, but those 12 out in the patio room is a killer. Im getting older, and getting up and down a ladder isn’t safe. My son loves his new black stone. Hes cooking up a storm. Lol., but he has his own home, so he hasn’t had us over for a meal yet, but that’s coming very soon. I’ll have to try alcohol on my windows. Do you use that inside as well? Here in Mi., I don’t plant till end of May either. Your patio is beautiful. Feels good to get a new refresh, Im sure.

I did all the inside a few months ago but I had to redo the patio windows because of the mess from the patio! I use alcohol inside and out! We love the Blackstone so much! Have a great day!

Dana, I love patio, it is amazing how just changing paint colour will coordinate it all. Love the black. I’m on hunt for polymeric grey black sand, my walkway needs refreshed I never liked the sand colour brings out red in my stone. I am happy to see someone else uses faux flowers in between planting seasons. I need color and it’s nice to see some early before I can actually plant. We refreshed our brick and paver patio this year. It’s over 30 years old and has so many weeds and moss between the pavers that it had to be power washed and re-sanded with polymer sand. The wooden deck needs painted but will have to wait a while to save up for the paint. I spray painted my fountain, two urns and still need to refresh tables that are just like yours . I was wondering how to tape off the glass and your way was perfect. I will be doing that when it’s a little warmer.

Just came across your channel when this video popped up. Really enjoyed it, and I LOVE your sweet dog! I had a good chuckle when she wanted to be included while you were trying to assemble your chair!!! Even putting her paw on one of the runners as if she knew she could hold it for you! LOL I live just a bit north of you in Eastern Ontario, Canada and like you, we don't usually plant until Victoria Day Weekend (your Memorial Day weekend). I agree with you that spray painting can certainly add flair and extend the life of otherwise tired items! Plus it saves a lot of money for the cost of a can of spray paint! I've revived many planters, pots, chairs and other outdoor decor over the years. Your modern chaise lounges are beautiful, but I agree with you again, in that I find the old style with arm rests the most comfortable! I will definitely watch more of your video's. 😊 ~~M~~

I tried! They have so much rust coming through that the paint immediately started chipping off! So bummed! I loved those chairs but I have had them for at least 8-10 years!

I saw your Ryobi power washer. Do you like that? Wasn’t sure if it worked as well as an electric one. I have minimal power washing and thought that might be a quick fix.

We actually love it for quick and easy jobs. Stronger than a hose but not as strong a gas or electric one. We have a big gas one but it is a pain if it's a quick easy job!
