We stayed at Hotel Green Cottage. It was a good stay. They have valley view rooms. You can find other good options nearby. Skyview resort is other option. It is bit far from patnitop. The adventure activities shown in video is of skyview resort.

Its better to go to Patnitop..Jammu must be warm/ humid in August. Weather in Patnitop will be much pleasant. In Patnitop you can enjoy hill station and activities. There are historic places and temples in Jammu. If you interested you can visit there also.
