Patriata is in fact a beautiful place for tourists coming from all over Pakistan. TDCP Murree's current management is doing a lot for the development of Patriata and nearby areas to facilitate the tourists visiting this area.

I lived in Turkey Georgia and Azerbaijan and I have seen how they attracted tourist and promoted this industry so in my opinion first Pakistan needs to plan a robust cleaning (water washing weekly basis all roads and streets) of main attraction areas. Secondly beautification plan of our bazars with permission on entry to pedestrian only no cars no Rikshaws and no motorbikes inside bazars.. Third develop separate food streets in plan and decent style kiosk again no cars no bikes no Rikshaws there inside food streets. Fourth label price list at tourist places of everything so scams can be controlled. White dress policing in these areas to keep check on vagabond and criminals. Give internship to university and college students as tourist guide on these places to guide tourists. Hotels and restaurants chains will automatically rush in after Pakistan tourism development board apply forts three steps..
