MeOhYesMe All good managers should instill a winning mentality in their players but all these winning mentalities can be different. Saying “winning is normal” is different from saying “winning is important”. They are both winning mentalities but there is a different mentality surrounding both of these. I think what is most important is not having the best mentality, but what is the best mentality for the manager, the players and the setting. The mentality must work in the setting with the players and if the manager can instill the belief in his players that it will work - even better. I think Clough was maybe the greatest ever but it’s very debatable of course. Ferguson is definitely right up there as well though I might be a bit biased as I’m Scottish ;)
