Dr. Patricia Gaborik (Università di Calabria) discusses her book Mussolini’s Theatre: Fascist Experiments in Art and Politics, published by Cambridge University Press in 2021. Her book brings theatrical expression to the forefront of historical analyses of Italian fascism, casting Mussolini himself in a role of central importance and influence in the development of a New Theater for the age. She is joined by Katie Reneslacis, graduate student in Italian at Harvard University.
