Go listen to Jeff Buckleys Live version. I had the fortune of hearing Leonard Cohen perform it Live, 4 times over 2 days, in the late 1980's, when I was a stagehand. And I was even paid to hear it! It's a beatiful song!! We sing it at funerals in my family, along with Louis Armstrongs "Wonderful World".

J’ai tellement souvent exprimé mon immense admiration pour Patricia , et mes remerciements pour la joie qu’elle m’a apporté , Que maintenant je suis obligé de me réfugier dans les détails . Et si elle avait à peu près le même âge , 16 ans à peu près , que lors de son voyage au Portugal et dans les deux occasions J’avais été frappé par son assurance tranquille . Elle n’a presque jamais besoin de regarder les notes ou son texte Même quand elle chante quelque chose d’ inhabituel. C’est vraiment une princesse , principessa ! Que la divine providence nous la rend bientôt un bonne santé et joyeuse !
