For a purple eyeshadow lover such as myself I don’t see this as a purple palette. Change the inside packaging and it would come across more like a cool toned pink palette with a few purples.

It's a Rose palette isn't it? There's only a couple shades that look purple or lilac on the eyes. 😭

I was going to say the same thing. At least it is not like the Lila that had 2 maybe 3 purples. 😂 I think this is not that perfect purple. I love my ABH Norvina 5 with pretty much all purple palette. There are browns but they are more burgundy, plum shades. A shimmery and foil duo chromes. A great variety and maybe a couple orange shades. I love it.

She really gets people with the palette design. By making the outer shell purple and including a couple of purple shades, people easily assume it's a 'purple palette,; it's not. Like so many of her palettes, it's pink and dusty rose. She might as well be Pat McGrath at this point.

while all your points are true, people aren't jumping to that conclusion based on those points; they are naturally and correctly stating "Natasha Denona has released a purple palette" because the Natasha Denona company titled the product "Roxa."

I’m really happy that ND released this palette, not because I’d ever wanna buy it (I just don’t see myself having use for an entire midi purple-themed palette, I’m using mostly neutrals), but because I really enjoy watching tutorials with it. It looks beautiful and it encourages me to create purple looks with what I already have: Oden’s Eye Solmane II and their purple single shadows. There are nice Lila shades in Mothership Subliminal as well. We really don’t need a whole new product when we can find the same or better in what we already have.

I'm ordering, purple and green are my favorite colors. However, I will be switching some of the shades out, with some from other palettes. Namely, the super pinky red colors. Great review and looks!

I for one appreciate that it's not a full on purple-only palette , but instead added colours which compliment purple too. If it were all purple, you'd end up with the same monotone look. At least by having complimentary shades, you get more variety.

Yes! Flight Club is also my own personal favorite TRUE purple palette. It does have a few shades that do run pinkish-purple like Orchid, but no red or true pink shades thank goodness!

So this palette was inspired by the ND OG Lila palette 😍 I don’t think she meant it to be ALL purple 😅 yes there are several pinky looking shades but I also think depending on how you layer & pair the shades it’s absolutely possible to get very purple looks 💜 I can’t wait to dive into my palette as purples make hazel green eyes pop 😊 I loved the 2nd look Patty & I am so eagerly waiting to see your 5 looks video ❤🎉

Ok I did not expect this. I was not going to buy this palette initially as I am not a fan of bright purple on my eyes. But this palette looks pink and very muted and gentle… just the way I love it lol well I might need it now.

Beautiful as always 💜 I got my Roxa a couple days ago and I love it so far although like you it's probably not the purple palette of my dreams. However if I use it with a couple of my other Midi palettes I can get some stunning looks. I'm happy to have it in my collection for sure. 💜💜

Ok, I can’t wait to tell you but maybe you mention it later in this video. Anyways, remember that palette, the love face and eye palette that came out for Valentine’s Day a couple of years ago? Anyways, the deepest shade in that palette is almost identical to this Eclipse shade. And the shade Dixie is actually pretty close to Snowbow in the xenon palette. I can’t wait to use those two shades with Nude Mauve and do a halo eye…. Ok, now I can watch the rest of the video, lol

I think if I mix and match palettes, I’ll use eclipse and dixie with the retro palette, the shade nude mauve for sure. And maybe instead of nude mauve I could try nurture or unity from my dream (neutral or leach instead of pink) as a transition color. Or even one of the mattes from I need a nude as a transition color.

I love 3 colors, the three dark purples, eclipse, jacaranda and concord. If this palette leaned more purple taupe or a taupe burgundy I would be jumping out of my seat! I am not going to lie, I have been looking forward to this release, but on my skin tone and eye color I think there are just too many colors I won't use to justify it. I am sorry Natasha, I need more rich jewel tones and taupes and browns that lean purple and burgundy what a dream that would be combined with the blendabliity of this palette. BTW, LOVED your first look, I would wear that every day casual and dress up! Thanks Patty for a great review and I look forward to your 5 looks, you are an artist!

Number one is pretty and looks fab on you Patty! IMO, Red eyeshadow is rarely flattering, perhaps for more editorial looks, although you made it work. Maybe ND will do a mini similar to Triochrome, with two rich purples, I'd purchase that for sure. 💜

I’m thinking of buying the Viseart Violette Etendu pallet for my purple fix. It has a mix of neutrals and various purple shades which is more my style. Mel Thompson did a review and tutorial on it when it came out, and I’ve always remembered how beautiful her eye look turned out. Saw it’s on sale at Beauty Bay so may finally pick it up! 😊

It's interesting how when youre filming yiu say the 1st look looked more purple, but what we see on video at home, I think the 2nd look looks more purple! I have been wanting a Natasha Denona MOSTLY PURPLE palette for sooooo long now, but I agree with you that it's not the purple 💜 we've been wanting. I would love to see her create a purple palette with one side warmer purples/other side cooler tone purples with a middle section of a few transition greys/suede colors and several shimmer/sparkling toppers!!!

Oh dear, these palettes come out and I have this colour by Fenty and that colour by Charlotte Tilbury and so forth. Then, I don't like red eye shadow and I don't buy. However, you are one of the best for reviewing makeup.

I have the Norvina palette, and I love it. It's great quality, but it's not all purple either. There's a few mid tone pinks and shimmers in the mix. I'm still going to get Roxa, but that's just me. I can't pass up a purple palette, especially ND.

Those red shades stick out like a sore thumb. It would have been better to have aubergine or periwinkle mattes - or if going for a shimmer one of those light teal/purple duochromes that are really popular with indie brands. Red is so hard to pull off.

Pink palette with a few pops of purple shadows . Not a fan of the topper shades. IMHO you need to enjoy pink eye shadows if you invest $70 for this palette.

Instead of the 2 red mattes, she should have done a metallic teal colour, and a jolt of an intense green& purple duochrome. We could have used a second accent colour of green teal (the first being pink) to diversify the looks. I also think that one of the lighter baby purple colours and lighter pinks could have been another mid-tone purple. We could have used 1-2 more intense purple colours.

Funny enough I just added a similar comment about swapping this shade for a light teal/purple duochrome. I often use this tone from indie brands (like Glaminatrix gleam single) with purple mattes as they are so complementary - but not boring, sickly or repetitive to previous ND palettes.

I don't need this pink and what 5 purples. In the Lila it was the same. Don't sell us a purple palette that pulls all purple in her ads campaign. 🙄 I would still love it because I love pink. The problem is too many purples that look like the shimmers, pink. It is beautiful but I have a perfect pink palette in my Sakura...palette. 😢 I lost my Princess Sakura. She was named after the Japanese cherry trees. The bloom for a short period. The celebrate the Sakuras in bloom. Yeah I had to get her put down. I was taking, according to her vet, excellent care. Ok I will cry and ruin my makeup. 😂 😊❤

The Violet palette from BBB is way better than this one is, as far as a purple palette goes! That one actually has different tones of purple n this one doesn't compare! Putting that ugly red n the pinks in this palette ruined it, imo!

Esta paleta no es para mí. El morado se obtiene mezclando rojo y azul, pero a mí me gustan más los morados en los que predomina el azul y esta la veo rosa. I’m disappointed in this one which makes me happy because I need a new eyeshadow palette like I need a hole in my head. Shades are too light for us deep skin beauties. Most of these shades are able to be replicated. I’ll go with Indy brands.
