I mean, it makes complete sense to me, since I am the one that wanted to have a baby to begin with, and it would mean a lot to my Uncle Mac and my father, especially now that he's sick. Patrick was soo polite at this point.... He was becoming too much polite... at that point when Robin got sick due to her marriage proposal... And U knw just look at the expression of Robin when Patrick said If u can have ur father last name... then why cant Our daughter can have my Last name ... She looks soo cute...

Their was nothing wrong with Robin wanting her baby having her last name.Most single mothers kids have the mother last name not the father.

Using that argument then there is nothing wrong with Patrick wanting the baby to have his last name because Robin is not a single mother.

10 years later they're living happily together in California... only Emma is 3-4 years older. :)

I really liked how the reveal was done. the only thing i hated was the fact that there was no relationship building or interaction between Matt & Patrick after the reveal. They didn't start a relationship until Robin & Patrick's first wedding

Remember something if they never had Patrick and Robin get married then their daughter would have left with Robin when KMc decided to leave, it was only because KMc left in 2012 and JT stayed that Emma remained on the show for another 4 yeas along with Patrick and then KMc came back to exit them off as a family. For the time she and Patrick were on together both were hands on parents---soaps don't know how to write stories where actors leave but remain good parents to their on air children---at leave when they brought Robin back to life and then left she remained in contact with Emma

Why do you have to fight Patrick on everything? Learn to compromise -- it won't cost you anyting to give your daughter his last name.
