I really enjoyed listening to the insights provided on family and the financial dynamics and many more. I also wanted to mention one thing it’s really easy to say that the Armenian community needs to get out of Glendale or southern Cali because they are owned by the democratic government. The sad reality is that we are always owned by the system no matter where we are and in which era we live. Please don’t forget about one of the fundamentals of the Armenian identity. It is about building a community and a safe haven to live and thrive. Give Glendale as an example, all the beautiful churches, schools, social clubs and all the small or big businesses and many properties that turned from a dumpster into a beautiful living space! How could you tell a community to just leave everything that you’ve built and start to build another community! Many of these families have changed not only their house but their countries at least four times and many are tired of this vicious cycle….The change is inevitable but to disperse such a small community to Texas or Florida or all over the US is to dissolve them once and for all.

“Maybe”? Armenians are masochists. Of course, they are, Patrick. You’ve just progressed in life, and your day to day interactions are not as active with the Armenians. I’m not proud to admit it, but it’s true for the majority of us. We’d rather sob over our losses, than appreciate what we have, focus on what we should do and what gains are to be made (including the return of the loss). It’s a struggle to stay positive with our people. Hats off to you guys for having broken through the stereotypes and reached the success levels that you’re at. Thanks for being an inspiration 🙂

I just finished watching it, tell you the truth, talk is easy, there so many issues with Armenians that is not even mentioned, why we cannot move to other states, why we don't show up for any meetings, etc. It is easy to just say whatever but if you actually get into it, not so simple. Example: most Armenians are big families, you live one life, with the upbringing and our culture we cannot be a part from our family and friends, lets say i can move, what happens to my brothers, sisters, friends and all, it is not easy to just pack up and move to another state, i would love to but again not so easy, but hey it is easy to talk about it and bring examples. Patrick, question to you, how big is your family? from what i know watching your Podcasts; you have one sister, so not so hard to get up and leave. I have 2 brothers and my wife has 2 sisters and 1 brother, you think it is easy to away from my loved ones? Your buddy Afo knows me very well. Ask Afo, why isn't he moving. So yes it is very easy to talk about it and make shows and podcasts and all, but when it is actually time to make a move, it is not so easy to make a decision like that. What we need to do, get involved in our policies and try to cause a change there.
