He called CP3 a hall of famer before anything. But he mainly brought into question why CP3's short comings aren't slandered or scrutinized like other superstar players. I don't see that as such a huge deal.

It's not that I don't agree, I just think it's ridiculous to say that Bev loses credibility bc he's biased. Reporters and broadcasters on mainstream media are some of the most biased individuals, yet we tune in bc they are entertaining. Bias is not something that is exclusive to NBA players. I love it when athletes take the mic and become analysts, but Patrick Beverley (so far) has been atrocious. No personality, no nuance to his opinions, insecure... For example, he was asked who he would rather guard, Steph or Luka. His response was, "It doesn't matter, I'm going to find a way to be successful against either one." That's a great response in a post-game interview. It's a terrible response if you're an analyst. You gotta be aware enough to answer the question that's not being asked. The question within the question was more than who he would rather guard, it was a prompt for him to compare two very different players and what makes each of them special. Anyway, he dropped the ball on multiple occasions. He's got a long way to go, IMO.
