@GR Liverpool in Carrickfergus? Wow! It’s a song very close to my heart. My Dad played it on the accordion to my Grandad (a Kerryman) as we said goodbye for the final time at his funeral. He used to love listening to my Dad play all the good old Irish tunes ☘️. If we’d held up well throughout the service, we all absolutely lost it at that point!

It's about the Goddess of Ireland called Eire in mythology (eire is her name Ireland is named after her :) basically the song is about her older then the cliffs who gave birth to mighty warriors, loved, been forgotten, abandoned left to decay and sold out by the nation. :)

Please go on Eurovision with a beautiful Irish song. Sam rider did so well out of it and I feel like you have so much to offer. I know it used to be a joke but it’s coming BACCKKK GAL. Fuck me, I sound old as shit… I’m and no one knows the Irish language and it’s stunning. I grew up in England. My mum lived in Dublin and moved here after being in mother and baby homes and now all English family. I decided to learn the language because I thought it beautiful and I’d hate it to disappear. There is so much Irish history that needs to be known
