Lou is such a nice guy. He's done so much and been through so much in his life, but has remained a real guy who loves the Lord. He continues sharing his talent, and deals with health problems daily, I'm sure. He's tops, as far as I'm concerned, as a singer and as a man. Thanks so much to got2cups for sharing this interview. It's the best.

I believe he had a brain tumour(non cancerous) that was removed with surgery.....but he has to take a lot of medication since that time, that is probably partly responsible for his weight gain.....He is sounding stronger and stronger with each passing year.....Does he sound like the Lou Gramm of the eighties that sang with Foreigner?.....no, but how many artists from that time still sound the same?.....

Hey I also noticed that you are an experianced critic on here. I have been playing guitar for about 30 yrs plus played and sang in a few country and rock bands...maybe I will put one up soon and you can do your worst at telling me my faults. Just so you know I am not a full pledged bible thumper but I believe in Jesus and I know it's not or should not be hurting you. Jesus message was love not hate and I am sorry I dont have the answers you seek.

The reason why these "bad" things occur -- God is NOT omnipotent; God is NOT all-powerful. Being that God is literally Everything -- all matter, all space, all energy, all Time, all thoughts & all feelings; & every nook & cranny in-between all the matter, space, energy, & Time -- this means that that God is in-fact not always able to allow ONLY so-called "good" things to occur. God is the most powerful entity there is. But God is not all-powerful. But God is great. Because God is everything.

What happened to him that in 20 years he looks so run down? I mean look at Paul McCartney. What was this operation? I did love his solo music!

karrezza He has a brain tumor the size of an egg. He had brain surgery and the medications he had to take to stabilize his body cause weight gain. He looks great for his age Late 60’s here, I believe.

@@OfficialJoeKingOne Lucky he found a preemie doctor of laser surgery who’d operate. The other doctors told him to go home and get his affairs in order. Amazing to know That he went on tour with Foreigner two months after his surgery because they face lawsuits Id he didn’t. He said it was pretty tough. Poor guy! But hey, he’s come through it with some weight gain, but close your eyes and the voice of Foreigner is still there!
