You are One of the best artists in the industry and criminally underrated. How do you only have 16K followers? This song reminds me of the friendship I lost with a musician friend of mine. I’m a music journalist and do PR for bands, reviews, interviews…and this one guy broke my heart and then wrote a song and made a music video about it. Dude this was REALLY good!! I think you've got a lot of good vocal harmonies on the lyrics, I love the 80s feel mixed with country, there's even a bit of emo there whether intentional or not and it's really cool. Chorus hits really hard. A couple things I think you could add would be some background vocals that aren't the lyrics or are different versions of the lyrics. Like in the chorus, the background vocals could be something like measure.beat: 1.1Ca (hold until) 2.3 ro 2.4and line in a big open reverbey voice or anything like that, just some more things to fill some of that background space. Otherwise really great song dude I loved it
