Who’s hating on him? Cause if you go to a Justin fields video you see millions of comments saying he sucks at passing and should be rid of. The people who go for fields actually give breakdowns on the future of the team and all williams supporters care or talk about is “look at fields stats” or “can’t even break 3000 yards” or “reset the qb clock” or “runningback” when all of Caleb’s highlights are him running around in circles because edge rushers can’t tackle his blindside like they would in the nfl and lets Caleb escape and run for 6 seconds. They don’t realize that the bears will not protect him and if you don’t get a man like mhj, the wrs will NEVER get open like they do in these highlights. Would you really want Caleb over fields, mhj, an extra first and some more picks?

On HALF of these passes, Caleb holds the ball LONGER than 3 seconds. (Something Justin Fields is crucified for on a weekly basis) I've never heard anyone say, "Caleb holds the ball too long". It just goes to show that there's no such thing as holding the ball too long. You hold the ball as long as the offensive line will allow you to. If your line is good, take all the time you need. If the line isn't good, then it's up to the play caller to ADJUST his game to accommodate for that deficiency.

Bears decision this year is really tough but it's between 2 options: Draft Williams or trade down planning to keep getting draft capital like last year for future. There's almost zero chance they take MHJ #1 overall because as good as he could be, the value of that #1 pick cause there's an elite QB avail is huge. It all comes down to how committed Bears are to Fields. Also if nothing changes with offense for bears Maye would be better in that kind of situation over Williams and Williams will likely have same issues as fields and he's less mobile than fields.

Most of his highlights are him scrambling out of the pocket for 4-5 seconds before throwing the ball. Looks great for highlight reels, but I don’t know how often that will fly in the NFL 2. His college teammates hated him. He is not a very likable guy from what I’ve heard; which potentially could be a locker room issue in the future 3. I'm a USC fan. Have been for almost 40 years. This young man is talented. But never mind the talent. We all have eyes. He'll be a first rounder for sure. But being a first rounder doesn't mean future NFL Hall of Famer. Any high first round draft pick can bust immediately. The Chargers and Raiders weren't the only teams to rate Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell with high draft grades. We just won't criticize other teams because they dodged a bullet by not having a top 5 pick. I'm more concerned with his mental state. That "crying in his mommy's arms" situation still bugs me. At any given moment, if the walls come crashing down around him from a big loss in the NFL, what will he do? I advise any team to take caution. I think he's been overly affected by social media and trying to make more of a brand for himself. We're going to see more and more of this in years to come.

Highlights can be so deceiving. He looks really good on these throws, but what does it look like throw to throw on a per game basis? I've seen his games against strong opponents this year and he just looks... ordinary.
@gokublackarcsaga7529 ай бұрын
He definitely didn’t look ordinary against Washington
@6lazn2209 ай бұрын
wrong he’s literally creating highlights at every game and has kept his team in the game when all else was failing multiple times
@6lazn2209 ай бұрын
@joshschmidt3841he imploded once under pressure against notre dame. and if you’re gonna knock a man for putting his heart on the line every game and losing because of something out of your control then that’s on you. you simply hate to hate and probably refuse to say anything good about him anyways. he’s insanely talented and he has his flaws but he’s one of the best in cfb
@clarkus119 ай бұрын
@joshschmidt3841 how many times you gonna comment the same thing?
@6lazn2209 ай бұрын
@joshschmidt3841 who gives af if he cried about a sport he loves. he didn’t implode in that game either. he statistically had a great game the game and basically carried the whole team when he cried with his mom. idk what you’re on about you’re just bias asf against him. and who cares if he paints his nails that has to be the lamest excuse to hate a player.

Absolute most ridiculous title I’ve seen for a KZbin video in a long time. This kid will be a bottom tier quarterback in the league. He is undersized, he has plus arm strength at Max, and most of these plays he will be gobbled up a defensive lineman. He has questionable leader, ship, skills, cries on command, and his frankly more interested in the way he looks than winning. I can name 10 quarterbacks in the NFL that I would prefer to this kid, including Justin Fields. No thank you.
@corybess95249 ай бұрын
So after all of that you’re saying out of the 32 starting QBs in the NFL there are only 10 you would take over him? What does that tell you lol

Let’s just say both Justin and Caleb can do everything, it’s two things More Caleb does that Justin doesn’t, 1 is his head is always down field, and two… He uses all his weapons, Justin looks jumpy when Caleb looks confident. If I’m Ryan, I’m drafting Williams.🤷🏿♂️

Justin's college tape looked like this to. Then he went to the Bears, got sacked... a lot, and is now shell shocked. That man hears footsteps in his sleep😆🤣

Ryan Poles said he would only draft a qb if he was blown away by a qb and/or if justin fields could show more consistency.. well 0:22 Welcome to Chicago Caleb!

Dude that guy had like 3 yards of separation and Caleb still under threw him even with a clean pocket.. that's the kind of college pass that would get picked off in the nfl

What yall want? Mahomes2.0, Herbert2.0, or Jackson2.0?
@TonyH24688 ай бұрын
I’m a Bears fan, and i hope so badly they draft williams. (Love Fields too, think he can be great in the right scenario, just think caleb has a higher ceiling) But we need to STOP calling him “Patrick Mahomes 2.0” or “the next patrick mahomes” etc. It’s setting Caleb up for failure. Because if he ends up being great, but. it white as good as Mahomes, people will test him apart with criticism. Prime example (and i know it’s a different sport but still) Philadelphia 76ers drafted Ben simmons and upon entering the league, all people did was Compare Ben Simmons skill set and court IQ to LeBron James….look how great that turned out…..Comparing rookies, and deeming them the “2.0” version of a current star or past legend before they play in the pros, in any sport, is just always silly to me.

When he has two seconds to throw the ball .... When he's in the NFL ... what then? When he's on his back .. every other play ....... what then?
@carlito_1487 ай бұрын
The NFC north is praying the Justin Fields fan boys get Chicago to stick to Fields. Caleb is a far superstar QB talent. It isn’t even close. holds the ball to long blah blah it’s what you do after the 3 seconds. Fields would be a huge upgrade for teams like Atlanta. Caleb would be a huge upgrade for the bears
@rem17628 ай бұрын
No. I would never draft a black player out of position because they suck at quarterback. They always change into a running back when under pressure and they get clocked. Watch Lamar against the Chiefs. He'll get his bell rung.

Looks more like a combo of Aaron Rodgers and Russel Wilson back in his decent days then a Mahomes. Still not bad company. Looks way better then Fields, hands down.
@hakunamatata-uy2jd7 ай бұрын
He makes some pretty eye popping throws. But half needs to come back due to playing at a higher level and all pros. Caleb cant play hero ball there and for gods sake someone put something on his peanut butter hands! Guy is a fumble machine! Still a great prospect and project and wish dude the best. Just calling out the obvious. Haha
@insomnyteq8 ай бұрын
this is the best QB in the draft? his reads are molases slow. great arm talent, bad mechanincs, steps up well but never delivers on time in a higlight reel. in most years this would be a 2nd rounder. , this guy doenst remind me of Luck or Manning, or Stafford out of college. more like Cam.
@vinrusso8218 ай бұрын
Half these comments are just ridiculous. Johnny football? Not hardly, he's a stud. Let's let this age 2 or 3 years and watch him be dominate in the NFL too.

Is this Caleb Williams highlights or Brenden rice? Every pass to rice
@richardmacias12907 ай бұрын
Caleb has all the arm talent I just hate that he loves playing this hero qb in the nfl it won’t be at all that easy, take almost a 10 yard drop back half the pass plays he takes. In my opinion he can’t play in structure and it’s gonna cost him in the nfl. He has all the talent in the world but If I were a team like the bears I go ahead and trade down to 2 get Jayden Daniel’s and build my team that way
@repyourteamsports89477 ай бұрын
My only problem with Caleb is his drop off in production when he faces good defense or ranked teams. His film looks like night and day.

about to be the biggest bust since jamarcus russell. more than half these passes wouldn’t fly in the nfl and on top of that the kid doesn’t seem to have the best head on his shoulders. publicly making demands for your contract and only saying you’d play for a certain number of teams in a league you’re not even in just screams entitled diva
@Ldog77778 ай бұрын
