In a spiritual valley at present. Attempting to recover from church abuse. I actually served by running a feeding ministry, serving homeless, addicts, low income, retirees, parolees, refugees. An outside donor not a church member, was dictating policy to Pastors. Could not continue under those circumstances. Interestingly, several church members have reached out, with hugs and encouragement. But I could not help but notice a sense of being unwelcome around the Pastors. I left and have not looked back. My Wife is the Praise and Worship Pastor at two churches, and has been very understanding. I have recently begun self study of The Bible, and listening to Dr. Charles Stanley. I realize God closes one door and opens another. So please pray that I may utilize my gifts of Hospitality and Teaching to honor Him according to his will. Blessings.
