When I first saw ‘She’s so LA’ online I thought I was absolutely passing, but I watched a tutorial Patrick did on light skin and it sold me. I love it! The tone changes once it actually goes on your skin. I bought all 3 except the mulberry shade and I’m obsessed 😊🥰❤️

I always apply Bobbi Brown cream blush first, then Shimmer Brick. I'm actually not sure about putting them the other way around. Maybe this only works for the products, which are made for that. The colours are beautiful in any case! 😊💕

Cate, It wasn't your demo video that I was referring to! Several others were applying cream first. They preferred it that way.....and that's fine. It IS the opposite of everything we've always been taught! To be fair, after I (and others) mentioned it, they tried it both ways. ❤

I mentioned in one of the demo chats the Patrick uses a reverse application technique. It was met with resistance, I must say.😁 I don't own these (yet), but I tried the technique with my Natasha Denona Bloom palette, and it appears to work well there.

I was inspired by this creme/powder layering and tried both ways with some of my other blushes. I was really hopeful that I could save my Mac glow play blushes and layered one over a Laura mercier. Maybe it will help with the lasting power 🤷🏻‍♀️

My order came today. FWIW for others - I’m very fair but olive and the Oh She’s Different shade looks amazing. Super happy with the purchase - I got it to pair with red lipstick like his promo photos and you can definitely use a light hand to make it sheer enough even for quite fair skin. Hooray!! Comes off like a neutral red - its a happier shade than say Clinique Cola Pop which I have as a comparison. And not as pink undertones as Nars Goulue.

I love that you show us all four shades on your cheek. I bought the peachy one & really like it. I actually used the Chantecaille powder brush with the powder & it picked up a lot of powder where it was too much to add the cream on top. So I was using one or the other. But I’ll have to try with the Sonia G brush you’re using. You end up with a beautiful finish! 😊

I have been loving She’s so LA 💕 I reviewed the 4 duo blushes and lipsticks with the demo both ways cream on top and then the typical way too 🥰 yes I reapplied my foundation 4 times 🤪In fact there are 3 application methods mentioned on the instructions, at the back of the box , in tiny letter lol 🤓 I love to see more creators with different skin tones reviewing these Patrick Ta products, so worth it! 💖😘

I like the WA because the finish is a little bit more radiant. The PT duos are more of a demi-matte which is great if you're looking for that.

I ordered the pink duo from Sephora and am waiting for it to arrive. Hm, I wish each shade worked well on its own. I don't like that I need to apply both to get the best color. I'll play with it as you suggested. Btw, I used 500 Sephora points to get $10 off my order, so the blush duo cost me $24!
