Oh and saying he's barely above average defensively is absolutely insane. Advantage metrics was better than Caruso. Patrick Williams at 21 is top 20 in steals and blocks. Top 20 in defensive rating. Top 30 in block percentage. He gave up the LEAST points in the entire nba in isolation guarding the opponents best player every night. Compare his points to Jaylen brown and kawhi leonards first 3 years. Kawhi also played behind players like Pat does in wooch Lavine and Demar. He has the size. The speed. Shoots over 41% from 3 already. I won't argue anymore. Because when you said he was barely average defender. I couldn't take you seriously

Not a complete bust but he has not lived up to the 4th pick. He has potential though. Coby white looked like a bust until Lavine went out. I feel like he has very good upside defensively but he needs to naturally play the 3 and we needa lit demar and Vuc and Lavine go
