I was heading from Yellow slacks at the back of Old Glossop towards Ironbower Moss with the intention of walking back to Hadfield along the Longdendale trail. I somehow or other ended up emerging at Slippery Stones at the back of Ladbower Reservoir. Once you are up on that plateau in fog it is as featureless as a desert.
