@@skipacuff5104 "Gregorian chant is the central tradition of Western plainchant, a form of monophonic, unaccompanied sacred song in Latin (and occasionally Greek) of the Roman Catholic Church. Gregorian chant developed mainly in western and central Europe during the 9th and 10th centuries, with later additions and redactions. Although popular legend credits Pope Gregory I with inventing Gregorian chant, scholars believe that it arose from a later Carolingian synthesis of Roman chant and Gallican chant." Whatever helps one focus on each mystery of the Rosary is what is best, as each must be meditated upon. When I pray the Rosary, my favorite being the sorrowful mysteries, I speak the words slowly, putting myself in Mary’s place. Only then am I able to embrace it in it's entirety. The mysteries of the Rosary cannot be rushed through as I have heard it recited in the past. It must be felt fully, word by word with the same passion, the same depth of emotion Mary felt when listening to her son's sermons and later when watching him suffer and die.

But now, I fully understand the full meaning of every single bit of tradition in the Catholic Church and it’s a pity that I grew up only knowing the untraditional new mass. This is beautiful. It brings to tears. Good work to ever single singer in this video. God bless!!!!!

I too grew up in the post- Vatican II era. I have yet to experience the TLM but I have grown so much in my faith! I attend daily Mass, kneel to receive Communion and have learned why it is so important to receive on the tongue. I also attend Mass wearing a mantilla (veil) they are popular where I attend. Don't be mad that you grew up in the church the way you did... just be glad that you were baptized into the Catholic faith! You can change the way in which you worship and attend Mass now that your an adult😊

Same! We were robbed. The new Mass was so godawful and Catholic school religion class was so bad that I was one of the 40% who graduate and become a flat out atheist. I'm so, so grateful that the Lord called me back this past winter after over 20 years, and not to the new mess of a mass either but to the Latin Mass. Enjoy it as much as you can while you can, and bolster your faith, Christine. I have some bad news. The last few years of rumors of the Latin Mass being suppressed again soon are true. The news leaked tonight on the Return to Tradition channel, but soon the rest of the Trad Catholic KZbin channels will be talking about it. False Prophet antipope Francis (who is also the Destroyer prophesied by Saint Francis) will be issuing an order either this July or in the fall that effectively kills the Latin Mass. Head's up. Attend as much as you can while you can.

Prayer for Inner Healing Lord Jesus, You came to heal our wounded and troubled hearts. We beseech Thee; to heal the torments that causes anxiety in our hearts; we beg Thee, in a particular way, to heal all who are the cause of sin. We beseech Thee, to come into our lives and heal us of the psychological harms that struck us in our early years and from the injuries that they caused throughout our lives. Lord Jesus, You know our burdens. We lay them all on your Good Shepherd’s Heart. We beseech Thee - by the merits of the great, open wound in Your heart - to heal the small wounds that are in ours. Heal the pain of our memories, so that nothing that has happened to us will cause us to remain in pain and anguish, filled with anxiety. Heal, O Lord, all those wounds that have been the cause of all the evil that is rooted in our lives. We want to forgive all those who have offended us. Look to those inner sores that make us unable to forgive. You who came to forgive the afflicted of heart, please, heal our hearts. Heal, O Lord Jesus, those intimate wounds that causes us physical illness. We offer our hearts to Thee. Accept them, O Lord, purify them and give us the sentiments of your Divine Heart. Help us to be meek and humble. Heal us, O Lord, from the pain caused by the death of our loved ones, which is oppressing us. Grant us to regain peace and joy in the knowledge that You are the Resurrection and the Life. Make us authentic witnesses to Your Resurrection, Your victory over sin and death, Your living presence among us. Amen.
