I use SwingVision app and film a few matches every few months or so and compare stats / technique etc. I don’t know if Patrick gets these comments/questions but I have a big one! Regarding preparation and eye dominance- what should a player do if they have no dominant eye, or mixed dominance. Context I am left handed generally, but play righty I can change dominant eyes with the eye test from day to day, and I have tennis games where I just miss balls entirely! Should I try and play open stance on all shots?? I usually play semi open on FH and closed on OHBH. Think I need Patrick’s help! 🙏

Her form and power seem fine. This is not footage of actual competition. For even the slightest indication of a pro career, let alone the top 100 players in the world, you have to see how someone competes and keeps it together on the court.

Patrick is just a great coach.. and I think he is also a very very great ambassador for tennis.... And also his knowledge about tennis is absolutely amazing..... One time he spoked about his childhood and how hard it was for him just to talk to somebody because he couldn't speak to anyone... He was just to shy... Then one day he decided that he would go to a therapist... But he wouldn't say a word in the first couple of meetings just hello and buy..... The therapist was without a doubt very good In his job...

Even in tennis, I notice Milan shares excellent footwork like her dad. I get that “where have I seen that movement before? ” kind of feeling. Something in the balance, timing and economic movement of her feet reminds me of prime iron Mike in the 80s.

Nice strokes! She can play in college & hopefully have a shot at the tour. I might add, tennis is similar to boxing. Footwork/movement, cardio, strength, attack, counter attack, defense, strategy & adjustments. You also work the points, setting up for the winner or mistake. Various tactics and patterns. There's a huge mental side to the game.

I saw a lot of players in the tourney they used to have in San Jose. For the life of me, I don't recall if I saw Federer. Not sure if he ever played it. That tourney has been gone for several years. Too bad, it was nice to give us "mortals" a chance to play in the pre-qualifying! ☮

Superb coaching by Patrick Mouratoglou - you simply cannot find a better coach anywhere. I like the way Milan shifts her shoulder and hip forward at the same time when she strikes the ball. By doing so, you put more power into your strokes. This is similar to what we call "rotation" in baseball when a pitcher turns the shoulder & hip at the same time when pitching. Coach M did a good job at instructing her to follow through on her strokes. So glad to know Milan is in the ITF as it is a far better path towards a pro career than is high school and college. This way she can get professional coaching and far more practice time. Mike Tyson is a big hero of mine (we are from the neighboring district in Brooklyn, NY) and I am so happy to see what an adoring father he is. I wish Milan the very best and hope to see her playing pro tennis some day.

Talented, sympathetic young lady. Will be exciting to see how far she can go. I hope she is or will soon be introduced to weight training and ideally plyometrics to improve her athleticism. Shorten her backswing movements (bit too expansive) and she'll further improve. Sinner could serve as a role model in this aspect. In my opinion, she has already got some sort of charisma at her young age that makes it pleasant to watch her play. Go Milan!😊

Well I had just seen this video popped up and looked up her ITF Junior's record online...she can't even win a qualifying match for a Grade 3/J100 event. If you can't do that at 16 with all the coaching her dad's money can buy there's little to no chance of her going pro.

And no, Jannik Sinner doesn't count because he was playing other sports at the time and representing Italy in skiing. If she can't even win a junior match she is getting nowhere on the WTA tour.
