An elegant small table for a trim router, with built-in dust collection and a cam-actuated fence. Highly versatile, and yet takes up little space in your shop.
For complete plans for this project, see my website: psullivancarme...
The DeWalt 611 router I used that fits this table: amzn.to/2UK90uH
For polycarbonate sheet, first check the scrap bin at stores that handle plastic, such as Tap Plastics. Since you only need a very small piece, this will be your cheapest option. You can also buy it online through Small Parts, Amazon, and dozens of other suppliers.
Aluminum strips are carried in most hardware stores, and can be ordered online.
The cam lever shown is from Rockler, part #58244. They also supply T-track, although nearly identical products can be ordered from dozens of other sources.
Router guide bushing sets at reasonable prices are sold by Porter Cable, Powertec, and Kempston. Here is the link for the Powertec 71051 on Amazon: amzn.to/2EwiTHr
I have no relationship with DeWalt, and have not received anything from them in return for my recommendation.

As always, reading the comments is a mixed bag. All i know is, this is my third Patrick Sullivan video, and i'm hooked. I've built my brother a new router table that i've designed with the help of other you tubers, and i'm scrapping the whole thing after seeing this. I just downloaded the plans, and hope i can get it to him by christmas. I'm slammed with building a large (10' x14.8') cabinet, but will whittle away at this most cleverly designed, and versatile little table that will be perfect for bro's two car garage shop that he still manages to keep two cars in. Anyone that can't see the awesomeness of this table over a store bought one either doesn't do any actual work with these types of tools, or is simply trolling. Patrick, if you read this, sincere thanks for giving back to a trade that must of given you something wonderful to allow you the joy of sharing all of this to all of us. It is appreciated believe me!

First, thank you for the sharing of knowledge, and the engineering to make this table. I believe the craft of woodworking is so important and people like you, Mr. Sullivan, obviously feel this as well. It's a sin if you're not teaching a woodworking shop somewhere. Thanks again!

This is a cracking video and a great router table. Years ago I made several monster floor standing router tables and they were all good - I still use one today. But a small table like this has a million uses, that the larger tables can't do - you can't put them in the boot and take them to your friends house to help out on a project for instance. Great video, thanks for making it!

I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great kzbin.infoUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.

Thank you so much for your effort, Patrick. I have subscribed to your channel. Very interesting videos, and professional working practices, unlike some other KZbinrs, who often seem quite amateurish. I also MUCH appreciate that you're sharing your plans, for FREE to boot! Again, all credibility to you. Many charge for this; yet yours are free, very detailed, professional, and truly well thought out and designed. Your positive attitude to making stuff oneself, instead of buying things, is also refreshing. It's building my confidence to know that one can do a LOT oneself. You, together with Ron Paulk, and Brit Workshop with Peter Parfitt are my go-to channels. Many thanks, and long may you continue!

This video was incredible. I love how great the video/audio production is. The project is awesome...I have to make one of these. As a side note, I loved how it made me feel like my Grandpa was teaching me another thing to learn. So many years ago, he was just like this, so meticulous...specialized tools and craftsmanship in a way that just isn't done anymore. Its fairly easy to find a helpful youtube video....much harder to find one that genuinely makes you happy.

great vid, well produced. Clear and simple to follow instructions and free templates too! Other channels could learn a lot from these production values. Its interesting to see how different people favour different techniques. You like glue a lot, others like dowels, pocket screws or they use lots of brads from a nail gun. Your approach needs fewer tools and less specilised equipment so its better for the DIY enthusiast that doesnt have a 100k workshop already. Good work, i will be watching more of your projects
