One more interesting thing about this tabletop is it appears that no power supply adaptor is included, which may explain the $199 price. Reviews says the build quality is very good, sort of like a smaller Unico MVSX

I got mine from Pixelheart (who licensed out Visco) it came with a 12v 2a psu but I've had to source a different one as it was French so won't fit in a UK socket. The unit itself feels very nice though. I really hope it's possible to add more games in the future.

I actually think the game list is pretty good. Goal Goal Goal, Bang Bead, Breakers Revenge, and Ganryu are all games I've had a lot of fun playing on my ALU. These games are really fun when playing your friends, which seems like that won't be an option here. The 3 shooters I saw are good too.

The euro Amazons have had these available (for delivery/not pre-order) since November. I'm not sure if they're actually getting shipped out though.

They are even available on the PixelHeart website, only thing they ship from France and you have to pay that shipping and Customs fees, which is totally not worth it for an item that costs $200

​@@PDubsArcadeLoft It arrived a day early! Controls are decent but the buttons are quite widely spaced. The screen feels v small and gets even smaller when you set it to true 4:3. The bundled two player controller is pretty lightweight and plasticky. TFT screen quality isn't too bad mainly because of the size and the content being shown on it.

The 4 button layout and mvs mod idea makes this interesting to me. I have wanted a mvsx but it never has went on sale. This price point makes this a bit more desirable if it can be hacked. Can unico ever lower the mvsx too $300 or less at least for god’s sake. It is old af at this point.

PDubs, I'm not personally interested, even with Hylox, but something that really bugs me about this particular machine is Unico's choice to tell you, all over it, that it's a Bartop. Really? I wouldn't have guessed just by looking at it. Could you imagine if every 3/4 machine had written on it, not only on the marquee, but on both sides, arcade machine. Like I couldn't tell just by looking at it. Just a little nit pick. I'm already lucky enough to have bought an iiRcade and to have purchased these games there and can play them on a glorious 19 inch screen. These smaller countercades aren't really for me anymore. After buying failed attempts from Arcade1Up, I'm not into the form factor any longer. I'm glad this Visco one exists as a possible mod project for you though. Something for everyone :) vgv

Unico never made the RetroStation. That was made a totally different company called Tron.

@@PDubsArcadeLoft you missing out it’s great.I own the Egrit,Sega blast and Neo Geo mini,marvel countercade but the Capcom Retrostation is definitely the best of the bunch,and the easiest softmod ever

I'm a huge fan of countercades, but that lineup is so weak. Now if it were that size with Neo Geo games I'd be all over it. I don't collect the mini consoles anymore, because while I like the concept and cute size I never play them. I'm very curious if this thing could be hacked. But then again, I'd still want it to look like a Neo Geo cabinet.

to be fair each one of the 12 games costs alone 300$ on their website and they give a controller for player 2 plus have a golden coin button which is very rare for arcade bartop minis, and atleast normal arcade controlls and no cheap knock off controller buttonlayout with a tiny rubbery uncomfy stick like on the neogeo mini... i got mine in sale for 169,99 euros and they even give a metal plate with a number for collectors so its a fair cute lil arcade machine with more secretly legendary rare games which are not bad, atleast 5 games i am very excited about so its a cute lil boxed present for 2 kids under the christmas tree to play together and unlimited coins to insert per golden coinbutton instead of a boring select button....

The secret is someone might hack it 🤔Neocvera has had a Visco since early last year, last I heard he's not looked into soft-modding it but I'm wondering if that's cos he's close to Unico. A softmod would drive Visco sales but probably hurt their other products.
