been hyped for this one ever since it was announced! I actually got my wife interested in the original. I was playing it on switch randomly and she was watching and said 'oh this looks fun I wanna play it too!' so we eventually did some co-op runs tearing up some undead zombies together! got to check out that steam demo it seems to hold up pretty well compared to the original. (although for the life of me I couldn't get my atgames joystick to work with it) so this one's definitely on my wishlist for Switch games when it drops near the end of the month!

These are still sprites, just of higher quality. Sounds like what you mean is that you prefer the *pixelated* look of the original and that's fine, but objectively the visual *quality* here is *better.*

I enjoyed playing the original last year and can't wait to play the remake. Tbh, I don't think the remake looks all that bad, like people are trying to make it out to be. The gaming community is negative asf towards everything nowadays lol.

I think if you gonna remake a game and make the visuals completely different then the original expect some hate from those whole loved and played the original. Imo cartoon graphics look silly childish and lazy.

What is such BS is that they removed the original from stores so now this is the only version. I hate this industry with a passion even tho i love videogames. It's a non-stop parade of anti-consumer/gamer crap we have to deal with. Re-releases of games like Marvel vs Capcom 2, Dead Rising Remake and more are all having certain things censored for "modern audiences". Yesterday I learned that Remedy just removed via an update one of the main songs from Alan Wake remastered, so even though I bought the game they can remove or alter them at any moment. Sony's CEO spoke about the importance of DEI practices and hoe "vital" they are to the company moving forward. Wokeness is forced into most new AAA games now. More than half of games are in part written and influenced by Sweet Baby Inc now. Destiny 2 had over $150 worth of content just removed from the game less than TWO YEARS after it was released to "make room for new content" in their GaaS model. Sony spent 400 MILLION dollars on failed GaaS "Concord" that was thought to be "the future of Playstation" within the company. The PS5 Pro is set to release at $700 without the disc drive and vertical stand. They want to push us into an all digital future and if they get their way a subsctiption based future. Dishonesty is the norm with games being shown on high end PC's then downgraded by release. I could go on and on but I'll stop now. I'm sick of it tho- unoptomized games that werwn't tested get fixed months after release ...or not at all ...CrossPlay has been forced into console multiplayer despite controller users being at a disadvantage against mouse and keyboard-Xbox backwards compatability program shut down as they focus on PC releases and "GamePass Gamepass GamePass". Gamee like Red Dead Redemption 2 havn't gotten updated for 60 fps despite having access to more powwrful hardware so they can more easily sell us on a remaster in a few years ..etc
