hi i know this vid is old but can't find a new video on this . i can't get any of my mame games to work. i can get all my other roms to work from snes genesis etc . did atgames do something to where i can't get my mame games to work? i just got a LUA and i rather do it this way then use a game stick or something like that . thank

I have a new ALU and I uploaded 5.68 firmware. I load games exactly as shown by the Cabinet owners, I use exactly the same programs, but my games are only seen by ALU, but they cannot load, do you know where the problem could be?

Has anyone figured out how to access saved game data in an UCE? It's kind of a non-issue for arcade games, but it would be nice for GBA and SNES games. The save state function on the ALU works fine and saving properly in-game seems to work, but I don't know how to access the folder where the actual .sav files are kept. If I could get in there, I could import my saves dumped from a cartridge or export my saves made on the ALU to be used in another emulator.

Tried the mame 2010 file. Got an error message (arch 64 something not compatible). We'll see if these other links work better

Are these steps needed with AddonX with the 5.x revisions? I picked up the 2nd Arcade Legends in Sept. and started dipping my toes into all of this. Thanks for putting this together.

***You forgot to mention you can only load 100 games per USB stick. Anything over that will give you a memory error message and not all games will be displayed.*** That way they don't waste their money on a USB stick over 32G. I learned from that and now I share my experience....

Hey Joe - the new Add On Tool resizes the files in a smaller format/file size. So you can get more on there. Several guys have told me they have a couple hundred on theirs and it works fine just takes a bit to load. I have about 75 on mine personally, my all time favorites. If you have an issue with yours you can email [e-mail] and they can help.

@@PDubsArcadeLoft I did use the addon tool and ran into this problem. I did email atgames and was told that because of the error message. They said the box art and bezel use up memory and causes it not to load all the other games. I guess if you add over 100 games and works for you, please let me know. I've talked to several game bloggers and they run into the same problem. Thanks and great video by the way

Hey PDubs! I know this outs me as a total nerd, but you know you don't need to click into the search box on the taskbar. You can just hit the start key on your keyboard and start typing :)

Does the add on tool put the files in the root folder of the USB or a folder, what are the average sizes of the games, will a 64 gb flash drive work, Thank you for all the information?

Bobby with the add on tool you can have a folder in the root drive of the flash drive (i.e. Arcade Games, Sega Games you can name them) and you can drop the .uce file into those folders. You can't have folders within folders though. 32GB is all you need really the game files are small.

If I have a USB with all the UCE files on it, can I easily just copy them all and paste them on a new flash drive for a spare backup? Or are there other steps involved?

Bravo, PDubs! Wish I had watched this before trying to piece the process together from a bunch of others I watched. One question: should this also work on the Legends Gamer Pro? When I plug my USB into the core it fails to load anything and I get an error stating "No AddOn files found".

I am having issues trying to get the emulator files to open in winrar. I went directly to the dropbox site and downloaded the files. When I tried to extract them it said the files were corrupted, Any suggestions? Sorry I am new to this.

Great videos. Really appreciate the content. I have been having a horrible time getting roms to work on my Atgames arcade. I probably have a 10% success rate using a Mame 2003 core and .78 Mame rom set. Using Nestopia core for Nes roms i can not get any to work. Would appreciate any advice. Using the latest version of the add-on tool and my AT Games legend cabinet firmware is up to date. No idea what i am doing wrong.

I mainly fixed this by starting from scratch. I deleted my add-on tool, all cores and started over with re-formatting my USB Thumb Drive to Fat32. I downloaded everything in the links for this video. Not sure which part was the problem. One thing i did notice was my Mame2003 core was just Mame2003 and not Mame2003 plus. After doing this i had a high percentage of Mame Games that worked and all NES titles so far.
