Just do the double boiler method, you're already using an oven may as well use the stove. Take a two pots (or a pot and a bowl) making sure one is bigger than the other, and fill it with water. Mind, you are going to have to fit the smaller bowl/pot into it, so fill it up accordingly to prevent overflow. Take the water to a bubbling simmer and place the smaller pot/bowl (not covering it all the way), into the pot with whatever you plan to melt. This should be very quick and it will melt more evenly than you just burning chocolate in a microwave. If you use a bowl, hold it steady with a kitchen towel to avoid burning. Good luck. :)
