I played black metal for 20 years. Guitar. Well done. I used to watch the drummer to time myself perfectly, the reverb and ringing is brutal. I am partially deaf. It was worth it. It was the only time I've ever been free. Very nice.

The tempo is extremely dynamic on this track, so it's impressive that you get it that good! Awesome job!

Wow.. My band would like to play this song with me. I can tell that you are the man for the job instead of me! I really can't play blasts that fast! Or double bass! Great job man. Its mad technique in this. And endurance! Good job once again.

Great work indeed Patrick! There aren't enough drum-cam videos of Frost out there, or drumming workshops by Frost... it's a shame that he doesn't get more attention in the drumming world... or maybe he just likes it that way.

I consider 1:44 and 3:24 as the perfect "double bounce"... Don't know if it's written that way, but impressive technique can be appreciated on those seconds.
@sayanator14 жыл бұрын
It is blasting for sure. Ask George K. about it. He swithces to two foot blasting later because it gets too fast but i'm pretty sure that frost played it single foot. Nice cover man.

@metallover54 a blast beat is what he is doing at the start, where you play fast, and play with the high-hat, snare and base drum at the same time.. But fast.. xD
@pryletoncyo12 жыл бұрын
@TheIamthere No. It's hard playing drums well. And playing metal drums is the hardest thing ever. You need to keep up with tremolo picking. Usually the drummer gives the lead, so to speak, so playing metal drums is the hardest job in the world. Takes a lot of skill and stamina. You can hear when the guitarist or the bassist gives the lead, as it doesn't sound as good as when the drummer gives it, as that's how it's supposed to be.
