He was tiny then, and there were a couple of other piano channels (that I knew of that did "something" like what he has here, but his was better and the figured it out himself, which was impressive at the time. I love how this theme first appeared in “The Dune Sketchbook” album as a part of the House Atreides theme. It becoming the leitmotif of Part 2 and being played on wind instruments instead of vocals perfectly merges Paul’s legacy as an Atreides and his newly gained Fremen mentality. I couldn’t imagine that this theme could be arranged for a piano so perfectly. Astounding job 👍

Hey Patrik; I know you probably won't even see this but i want to thank you so much for your hard work in these videos. The hours of practice it takes to play pieces like these helped inspire me to pick up the keyboard. When I was 13, one of my friends showed me your Force Theme from Star Wars and i was amazed by how fluent the piano transcription was. I practiced every day, 2-6 hours for over 4 years. Now i can play your pieces like i always wanted to. Now a new page in my music life is approaching and i am starting to produce original compositions. Your originals really inspire me to keep making music and give me ideas on how to use instruments. So one more time, thank you so much for giving me that inspiration! LG, Lasse

Three thoughts on experiencing this fantastic cover. 1. You have a gift. Thank you for sharing this gift with us. 2. Hans Zimmer had years ago cemented himself as the greatest film composer of all-time in my opinion, at this point it is just getting ridiculous in the best of ways. This could be his finest piece, but then you listen to some of his other works and think the same. 3. You are the Hans Zimmer of piano ...covers (and arrangements). Does Hans Zimmer know of you? If not, will you please try and reach out to whoever need to be reached who can share your gifts to him. I KNOW he will be happy and impressed!
