Years ago my late husband and I passed through Cerbere on our way to Spain (on his motorbike). We didn't stop, but for some reason it fascinated me and has done ever since.

I went many times in Cerbere, and sorry, that's not what you are saying. So, let people exprime their love for their country instead of stupidly criticizing them with judging others only with politic and racial views. Did you at least ever came on this village to judging like that ? Personnaly, i love Cerbere, and after, that we like or we dislike that's not a problem, but honestly, there, it's denigrating for those who just exprimes their love for the village.

Cerbere is fascinating for two reasons: 1. Stupendous setting. 2. Proximity to Spain. Aside from this it’s not even a one-horse town (that would flatter it; perhaps, at a push, a one donkey town), with no real draw.
