John's clumsy, ham-fisted manipulation that somehow works on everybody 100% of the time is the best part of the show

John being drunk and finally having genuine fun with his brother and friends is one of the best and saddest moments of the show

If Michael Dorman wasn't actually drunk when they filmed this, then I've never seen someone act drunk better than he does here.

This show was great. It just didn’t work for mainstream.

This is seriously one of my single favorite episodes of a tv show ever. And this scene is so fucking funny.

God dammit no one ever watches this when I recommend it but it's hilarious, plus I don't know anywhere else that's mixed Beastie Boys and Townes Van Zandt in one place

It was just such a left field choice to make a big point of the second season to bring all these characters together, reveal what's going on, and just......have fun with John, before he goes back to his horrible mission. I love it, but I would never have expected it from Season 1.

As stupid as it sounds to say, and not to sell all the other commentary in the show short, it really is in large part about just friendship

My favorite too! His drunk performance is class! and when they laugh more when the little guy catches up twice is amazing

The "fighting a dog" lesson. It's forever debatable but I'm laughing so hard every time I miss the part about using a bicycle to do smething.

This is a funny scene, but also really sad. The way that little cop was laughed at and disregarded, really made feel melancholy.
