I was about 15 when I saw Patriot open for Blanks 77 at Lizard & Snake. It was my intro to Oi!, skinheads, and the whole subculture. I was instantly fascinated by the look, the sound, the shared camaraderie, and of course the girls. I'm glad that it was Patriot and Chapel Hill that were my first exposure to Oi!
